Who We Are

Our Mission

The Orthodox Diocese of Eldoret dedicates itself to proclaiming the Gospel of Christ and the Orthodox Christian faith. Bishop Neofitos and the clergy guide the spiritual life of our community in accordance with Orthodox tradition, sanctifying the faithful through worship, the Holy Eucharist, and other Sacraments. Bishop Neofitos’ leadership fosters a spiritual and ethical life for our members based on Holy Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and the teachings of the Holy Apostles and Church Fathers.

Challenges and Needs

As a new and expansive diocese, we face challenges stemming from limited resources, both human and financial. Many within our community hunger for the word of God, echoing Matthew 9:37-38: “The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few.” Yet, we are determined to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ to “make disciples of all nations,” (Matthew 28:16-20) and welcome those with a strong belief to support our efforts.

Lets Make a Difference!

Your support is greatly appreciated! Together, we can address these needs and nurture our growing Orthodox community in Eldoret.
